1. Our Privacy Philosophy: Privacy First & Local Execution

At JigShare (developed by the JigShare team), we believe that your memories and personal photographs belong exclusively to you. The app is engineered around on-device local execution, sandboxed storage, and zero-knowledge architecture. You can enjoy the complete single-player puzzle experience without ever creating an account or logging in.

2. Local Processing & Device Sandbox

When selecting images from your camera roll or snapping new pictures within the app:

• On-Device Slicing: Photos are segmented into grid pieces entirely within local device memory using CoreGraphics and Metal. Raw photo data is never uploaded to any remote server for standard local play.
• Apple Privacy Manifest Declaration: In compliance with Apple's iOS 17+ Privacy Manifest guidelines (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy), we access required APIs strictly for non-tracking system operations:
  • UserDefaults (CA92.1): Preserving your game sound preference, daily streak counter, and unlocked difficulty levels locally.
  • FileTimestamp (C617.1) & DiskSpace (E174.1): Managing temporary image cache limits to prevent device storage exhaustion.
  • SystemBootTime (35F9.1): Calculating high-precision game timers (10Hz) for anti-cheat verification.

3. Social Challenge Sharing & 7-Day Auto-Deletion (TTL)

JigShare offers optional peer-to-peer challenge sharing via Universal Links and offline .jig files. When you explicitly choose to create a cloud challenge:

• Strict 7-Day Lifecycle (TTL): All uploaded challenge puzzle images and associated metadata are programmatically purged and permanently deleted from our servers after exactly 7 days via automated hourly background cleanups.
• Automated AI SafeSearch Moderation: To ensure community safety and comply with App Store Guideline 1.2, all shared challenge images are screened automatically via Google Cloud Vision AI SafeSearch before becoming accessible to challenge recipients.
• No Public Gallery: Challenge links are private point-to-point invites. We never publish or expose your photos to public social feeds or discovery tabs.

4. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) & App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

JigShare uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (v13.9.0) to display occasional banner and reward advertisements that support free gameplay:

• Explicit ATT Consent Prompt: In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, JigShare asks for your explicit permission before any advertising tracking occurs. If you choose "Ask App not to Track", Google Mobile Ads will strictly serve contextual, non-personalized advertisements.
• SKAdNetwork 4.0 Compliance: We maintain complete SKAdNetwork identifiers for Google and its verified third-party demand partners, ensuring privacy-preserving ad attribution without fingerprinting or cross-site user identification.
• Authorized Sellers (app-ads.txt): In accordance with IAB guidelines, our official authorized digital sellers file is accessible at https://jigsawphoto.netlify.app/app-ads.txt.

5. Sign in with Apple & Account Erasure

For cloud challenge synchronization and cross-device leaderboard scoring, users may optionally authenticate via Sign in with Apple:

• Only an anonymous, random Apple User Identifier (UID) is stored. Your real email address and full name are never required or collected.
• Instant Account Deletion (Guideline 5.1.1(v)): You may initiate instant, irreversible account deletion directly inside the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account. All associated cloud data is purged immediately upon confirmation.

6. Children’s Online Privacy Protection (COPPA & GDPR)

JigShare does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). Because local guest play requires no login, children can enjoy photo puzzles safely in offline mode.
