Our Commitment

We believe that your personal photos are your business. JigShare is built with a "Privacy First" approach. While we provide cloud features for social play, your photos remain secure, and their lifecycle in the cloud is strictly limited and audited.

Local Processing & Guest Mode

When you play locally or use Guest Mode, JigShare processes all images on your device. We do not collect personal data, account information, or photos when you are not using cloud features. You can enjoy the full puzzle experience without ever signing in.

• No Server Uploads: Local puzzles are never transmitted to our servers.
• Sandboxed Data: Game history and settings are stored locally in your app's secure sandbox.

Social Sharing & Cloud (7-Day TTL)

JigShare allows you to share challenges via Universal Links or .jig files. When you create a cloud challenge, the photo and metadata are uploaded to our secure Firebase storage. To protect your privacy:

• 7-Day Lifecycle: All uploaded challenges and photos are automatically and physically deleted from our servers after 7 days (1 week).
• Safe Search Audit: All shared images are audited via Google Cloud Vision API to ensure safety before they are visible to recipients.
• Private Sharing: Challenges are point-to-point. We do not provide a public feed or social square for your photos.

Firebase Integration

We use Firebase for authentication, leaderboards, and notifications (FCM). Your account is anchored by Apple Sign-In, which shares only a unique, anonymous User ID (UID) with us, keeping your real identity completely hidden.

No Third-Party Tracking

JigShare does not use any advertising identifiers (IDFA) or third-party marketing trackers. We only use technical identifiers to maintain your competitive ranking and deliver challenges you've been invited to.
